The items listed below are typically needed post-disaster and are not specifically needed for the recent tornadoes in Central Florida.  Please revisit this page in the coming days for current updated needs.  

The following items are typical critical needs immediately post-disaster:

Non-perishable, ready-to-eat food items

(Non-Perishable food items include Meals Ready to Eat [MREs], Peanut Butter, Granola Bars, pop-top canned food items, cereal, or any non-perishable foods that can be opened and consumed with out the aid of a can opener or other utensils.)
Water

Ice

Important Note:

Used Clothing Donations/In-kind donations

In-kind clothing donations are best when they come from companies that can provide new items in quantities to meet the mass-care needs of survivors. Unsolicited, spontaneous donations of clothing from individuals and community groups, although well intentioned, have hidden costs and pose a number of complications for initial relief efforts.
